From Permaculture to Agile Organizations - Applying Ecosystem Principles Episode 67

Season #2

Join us for the latest from Agile Meridian and hosts Kumar Dattatreyan and Glenn Marshall as they explore the connections between permaculture principles and agile ecosystem thinking.

Permaculture and Ecosystem Thinking is a creation and collaboration from some of the brightest minds in sustainable agriculture and the creator of the XSCALE framework, @Peter Merel. He, along with an army of Collaborators created the Ecosystem Thinking Principles and we aim to discuss the first two permaculture principles - "Observe and Interact" and "Catch and Store Energy" - and draw parallels to the agile ecosystem principles of "Directly Responsible Individuals" and "Capture and Share Learning."

Learn how small, cross-functional, self-organizing teams can share knowledge like energy flows through a natural ecosystem. Discover how responsible individuals collaborating as peers can "observe and interact" to build balanced solutions.

This is the first in a multi-part series unpacking the permaculture principles and their relationships to creating thriving, adaptable agile organizations. Stay tuned for more ecosystem thinking insights!
